A new project with the fantastic pianist Gary Versace. Exploring some contrapuntal pieces, plus some new concert music that incorporates improvisation. Gary brought a great arrangement of Charlie Parker’s “Red Cross”, and decided to take on Monk’s “Boo Boo’s Birthday” at the session. It was alot of fun to get to interact with Gary in a real open, concert setting. Streaming everywhere on August 21st.
